  • Do I have to provide a birth certificate?

    Yes, all NEW players are required to show their birth certificate at the time of registration for age verification.

  • How do you determine what age an team my child will be assigned to?

    Players born between January 1 - December 31 of each year are considered to be in the same age division.

    Players are assigned based on gender and on geographic location, i.e. city and/or school.

    NO SPECFIC TEAM or COACH REQUEST is guaranteed.

  • Can my child wear jewelry?

    No jewelry of any kind, including but not limited to earrings, necklaces, and bracelets may be worn.

    Covering jewelry with tape is NOT ALLOWED!

  • What does my registration fee cover?

    Your fee will cover the cost of one uniform (jersey, shorts, and socks) to be worn during the Fall and Spring seasons

    City and State player fees

    Administrative and Referee fees

    Field equipment and paint

    Participation medal/trophy at the end of each season.

  • When and where are practices?

    Each coach will determine what is best for their team.

    The majority of practices are in the early evening hours, usually starting at 5 p.m. during the week.

    Some coaches will have practices in the hometown of their players, but this is left to their discretion.

    Teams must practice at least once per week weather permitting.

  • When do games start and how many games will be played?

    The Fall season begins mid-September and Spring begins mid-March.

    Games are played on Saturdays beginning at 9:00 a.m.

    Weeknight games are only if needed based on number of teams in the division, but games will begin at 5:30 p.m.

    There is a minimum of 8 games per season, weather permitting.

  • What types of shoes are required?

    Soccer cleats or tennis shoes

    NO baseball cleats or metal studs

    Shin guards are MANDATORY at ALL practices and games

  • What size of soccer ball does my child need?

    U4 - U6 - U8 - size 3

    U10 - U12 - size 4

    U14 - up - size 5

  • Can I coach a team?

    Any person wanting to volunteer must first complete and pass a background check through North Texas State Soccer Association.

    Additionally, they must complete the federally-mandated SafeSport course.

    Both can be completed online for free.

Refund Policy

  • ALL refund requests must be sent to CCSA via e-mail by the parent/guardian of the registered player.

  • No refund requests will be accepted by a coach on behalf of a player.

  • Requests for full refunds (less any late fees) will be accepted up to one week after registration closes.

  • Once a player is placed on a team, refunds will be no more than half of registration paid (less any late fees) up to 3 weeks before the first game.

  • No refunds will be issued 3 weeks prior to first game of season without Board approval.
